We are very fortunate this year to have another huge fundraising event involving one the foundation trustees Ben Haining and a parent of another tennis academy he is involved with. 

Simon Thelwall-Jones spoke with Ben regarding doing a fundraising event after he saw that in 2015 Ben participated in the bike ride to help support the foundation and all the hard work they do. After seeing all the support the Elena Baltacha foundation gives to help children from all backgrounds participate in tennis Simon wanted to help further support with a fundraising event. He decided to enter the Great North Run and asked if Ben wanted to join with him, and he did.

We are always ever so grateful for any support in delivering Bally's dream of giving children the chance to play tennis and maintaining her legacy after she passed away.
