EBF TENNIS ROADSHOW FOLLOW ON FREE PROGRAMME

After every Elena Baltacha Foundation Tennis Road Show, delivered directly on site at schools, a free ‘Follow-On Session’ is always provided. At the end of this session, players are guided towards a local tennis club where they can continue their tennis journey. Offering free tennis sessions for junior pupils is vital to increasing participation and fostering a love for the sport. By supporting entry into the tennis pathway, children from all backgrounds can access tennis, creating a more inclusive environment. Free sessions introduce young childrento the game in a fun, low-pressure setting, helping them develop basic skills, confidence, and social connections. The sessions also provide opportunities for our foundation coaches to identify emerging talent and identify those just wanting to play at recreational level, we then guide players towards local clubs for continued development. Beyond skill-building, these sessions promote physical activity, wellbeing, and teamwork, inspiring the next generation of players while supporting a long-term pathway in tennis.
