At the beginning of December a group of players, coaches and parents from the Elena Baltacha Academy of Tennis (EBAT) spent a day at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, South West London with Anne Keothavong and Judy Murray. Two remarkablewomen came together to provide an unforgettable mentoring experience for members of the Elena Baltacha Foundation. Judy Murray, at the time our Patron is a renowned Scottish coach and mother of Grand Slam champions Andy and Jamie Murray. Judy is celebrated for her leadership in grassroots tennis, Fed Cup captaincy, and her initiatives to grow participation, particularly among women and girls. Alongside her was Ann Keothavong, an EBF Ambassador and former British No.1, who reached a career-high WTA singles ranking of World No.48. With 20 ITF singles titles, four Olympic appearances, and a Fed Cup career, Ann has continued to inspire as Great Britain’s Billie Jean King Cup captain.
